Vaccinations
Our philosophy is to provide the best possible health care to our patients through professional services. That is why we offer vaccinations for certain illnesses.

- Meet a minimum age of 18
- Not have any known sensitivity to any component of the influenza virus vaccine
- Not have an allergy to chicken eggs or egg products
- Not have an allergy to Thimerosal
(a preservative found in some cleaning products or contact lens solutions)
- Not have a fever
Shingles Vaccine
The vaccine for shingles is recommended by the CDC (Center for Disease Control) for all people age 60 and above. This vaccine requires a written prescription from your doctor. Administration is by appointment only. Call today to schedule 605-388-3622.
The same virus that causes chickenpox stays in your body and can later resurface as Shingles—a painful, blistering rash.
ZOSTAVAX contains a weakened chickenpox virus. Tell your health care provider if you will be in close contact with newborn infants, someone who may be pregnant and has not had chickenpox or been vaccinated against chickenpox, or someone who has problems with their immune system. Your health care provider can tell you what situations you need to avoid.
